Marketing & PR: Rebrand

Clim Studio had grown over the past several years and Clim wanted to rebrand the site to capture a more professional "grown up" feel while retaining the fun and joyful spirit that he imbued. I developed the positioning, attributes, tone, and rewrote all of the marketing copy.

Hornet produced Kroger's Holiday commercial, a heartwarming story of family and the special moments that bring us together. I wrote the copy for the announcement email, website, and award submissions (we won a number of them!) Here the link will take you to a series of screenshots of the website page (Hornet has since had a rebrand/redesign so it is no longer on the site) which details the commercial's creation.

A fun-loving, tap-dancing Scarecrow. What could be better?!

Not much was needed for this tapper's boogie, so I wrote a short, playful snippet for this Hornet creation.

Marketing & PR: WSJ Original Stories

The most successful content marketing campaign of FY18, I developed the creative and designed the framework for the launch of WSJ Original Stories and its ongoing campaigns. The ad would launch simultaneously with the newsroom article's publication to own WSJ's proprietary content in the consumers' minds. This was the first-ever marketing campaign to integrate WSJ's iconic stipple artwork into the creative design.

Hornet launched a new employee benefit that allowed employees' creativity to flourish and shine: they announced that one-week per year, an opportunity to step away from work and spend five days focused on a creative passion would be given to all. To shout this from the rooftops, I ghostwrote this Linkedin LBB article, incorporating the crisp elegance of the co-founder and managing director's voice into the celebration of an exciting, unique benefit and recruiting/retention tool.

Scripts: Finding Brave

Be kind! This is my very first script. Inspired by rereading my favorite writer's storytelling book, I wrote this story in a day and edited it a few times before experimenting with filming it (another first!) during that oh-so-fun first summer post-Covid. It's a warm, light-hearted short story about a girl who goes on a journey, finding herself along the way. This is the story that led me on my own path to becoming a storyteller.
